Ayufem Tablets

Ayufem is specially formulated to promote normal and regular menstrual cycles. This formulation helps with discomforts such as premenstrual mood swings and irritability. It also helps with menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and irritability.

Asparagus racemosus is a rejuvenator herb that improves health by increasing immunity, vitality, and resistance, imparting longevity as well as protection against stress, is a strength promoter, a galactagogue, and an erythropoietic, enhances folliculogenesis and ovulation, prepares the womb for conception, prevents miscarriages, acts as a postpartum tonic by increasing lactation and normalizing the uterus and the changing hormones. Asparagus racemosus has estrogenic activity. In higher doses, its hormonal influences are manifested in conjunction with female sex hormones. A clinical dose of Asparagus racemosus induces higher cornification of the vaginal epithelium. The constituents of Asparagus racemosus make it useful in menstrual disorders such as dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, irregular bleeding during the perimenopausal period, and also in situations after menopause. Asparagus racemosus contain saponins that hinder the oxytocic activity on uterine musculature, thereby maintaining the spontaneous uterine motility, confirming its utility in dysmenorrhea which comprises painful menstruation without significant pelvic pathology. Shatavari being a known source of phytoestrogens can be effective in reducing adverse menopausal symptoms. These are weaker than natural estrogens in action but do not have side effects.

Aloe Vera in Ayurveda is known as Kumari which means Girl as this is a herb for female health. It is used to treat conditions related to menstruation, bleeding, joint pain, skin problems, liver, digestive system, bowel movement, constipation, and as an immunity booster. It is a source of over 20 minerals, vitamin B12, Vitamin A, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and folic acid, etc.

Symplocos racemosa extracts are highly beneficial in treating gynecology conditions like excessive menstrual flow and leucorrhea. Research shows that S. racemosa treatment significantly decreased testosterone levels in PCOS. S. racemosa significantly restored other biochemical parameters such as estrogen, progesterone, and cholesterol levels. It also restored the histology of ovarian tissue. The ovarian weights and uterine weights were also significantly recovered after the S. racemosa treatment. S. racemosa was found to be effective in the treatment of hyperandrogenemia in PCOS.

Saraca indica bark is reported to stimulate the uterus, making the contraction more frequent and prolonged. The crystalline glycoside substance is also reported to stimulate uterine contractions.
